As a Cafe Associate, you will play a key role in delivering the Tea Life experience. From crafting drinks and serving food to assisting guests and maintaining a clean workspace, you’ll help ensure every customer receives quality products and outstanding service. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and eager to grow with a locally owned business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages, desserts, and food items according to company recipes and standards.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive customer service to every guest.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café, including dining areas, kitchen spaces, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards at all times.
  • Accurately take customer orders and process cash and card transactions.
  • Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards consistently.
  • Assist with dishwashing, stocking inventory, cleaning tasks, and general store upkeep.
  • Complete opening duties, closing duties, side work, and assigned checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Learn and adapt to new menu items, equipment, and operational procedures as the business evolves.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
  • Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and company standards.
  • Previous food service, restaurant, café, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be seeking long-term employment (12+ months preferred).
  • Ability to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
